ART PARTY: Seed Event
Artworld Digest Magazine 2006

SEED is a global environmental installation and is part of the printed exhibition coming in October. Artworld Digest will be hosting a series of Seed Events. The events are part of a larger art project and serve as a place where people can network with other artists and people in their community. The event is designed for people to meet and make new connections with artists and the art-inclined.

People who attend the party will also be given a seed packet with instructions on how to plant and germinate them. This project will be represented in the next issue of the magazine. Seeds can be planted either indoors or outdoors using a container. Creative seed plantings are encouraged and will be documented and published. The events serve as a way to develop new social networks and develop community. All seed participants are free to give out there contact informations to network with other participants and will be encouraged to contact each other afterwards. As the seeds grow they will become part of an online virtual field. Each plant will represent a participant and include contact information. $10 is requested to participate in the seed exhibition.
